Michelle Keegan threw her mum Jackie a 60th birthday party over the Bank Holiday weekend – and it looks like she pulled out all of the stops.
The former Corrie star, 34, decided to turn her mum’s garden into a lavish summer festival which was full of fruity cocktails, live music and bar staff to cater to their needs.
The actress and her mum partied away in a huge white teepee which had been placed in the corner of the garden.
In a stunning outdoor display, the garden was decorated with massive birthday balloons and party lights in the shape of Jackie’s age – 60 – as well as a live music area underneath.
Taking to Instagram, Michelle showed off the glamorous garden party to her fans on social media.
Michelle had gone all out for her mum’s event, as smartly-dressed bar staff were in attendance to serve up delicious alcoholic drinks.
Singer-songwriter Callum J Wright even made a special appearance and performed live music at the private party.
Mum Jackie was surprised with a beautiful two-tier sunflower birthday cake, which was presented on its own table.
Michelle was also joined by her ex-TOWIE star husband Mark Wright, and the couple shared snaps from the event on social media.
It comes not long after Michelle and 34-year-old Mark, who tied the knot in 2015, celebrated his sister Natalya’s 21st birthday.
Mark has recently spoken out on his relationship with wife Michelle after six years of marriage, and has said he’s sick of justifying his marriage to people.
The celebrity pair have sparked speculation about how often they actually see each other – amid their busy work schedules.
Speaking to The Sun, he said: “Nobody needs to know how much Michelle and I see each other.
“We always make it work. It’s just a lot of travelling really, up and down the motorway. We both work hard, she works hard, there are no rules in life, are there?
“I might see her for five days, go to work for a day then see her for another five. We see each other plenty, people don’t need to worry about that.
Similarly, his wife Michelle has confessed that she doesn’t like how people negatively portray travelling for work.
She told You Magazine: “Going away for work is never seen as a good thing, only as a negative, and I don’t understand that.
“Are you seriously supposed to turn down work in case it impacts your marriage? I find it ridiculous. The travelling could be tiring but it was amazing.”
