Naga Munchetty may be a regular on our TV screens but the presenter also has a great eye for interior design.
One of the fan-favourite hosts of BBC Breakfast, Naga Munchetty is a familiar face for those who are early risers and enjoy a morning show.
She lives with her husband James Haggar and their three cats, Bella, Kinky and Ronnie, in a cosy countryside home in Hertfordshire, scenes away from her old stomping ground.
Naga, 46, was born and raised in Streatham, South London, married James in 2007 and in 2010 moved to her forever home, an hour north of central London.
She “feels safe” in her country bolt hole which has wooden floors, white walls, and two huge cream leather sofas, perfect for lounging on to catch up on some telly.
The couple have a matching cream leather armchair and glass coffee table in their living room.
The pale textiles are livened up with bright Fuchsia pink and turquoise blue cushions with textured petals.
Two wooden side tables six next to the large sofas, and a bold red dresser holds a blue lamps as well as a sweet photo displaying the couple’s initials.
The couples’ kitchen has a white tiled floor, and wooden cupboards with metallic silver handles to complete the muted colour palette.
To add to the perfect neutrals indoors, the cats have a single mat and three beige food bowls to all pitch into.
Her cats certainly appear spoiled as Naga shares snaps aplenty both of and with her feline friends.
Heading outdoors, huge French patio doors make quite the statement in her living room as they open up to their huge lush green garden.
Paired with a corner chair, floor-length curtains and a rug right in the centre which looks like a popular location for her cats, Naga’s living room looks like a relaxing location.
Naga has always shared her home with her beloved cats and speaking with the Daily Mail in 2016, she said: “If I’m not away working, I’ll be curled up on this sofa most nights watching TV and stroking my two Siamese cats, Kinky and Ronnie
“I moved to this house six years ago with my husband James,”
“I was born and bred in south London, so living in Hertfordshire is a big change and I love it.”
“I can look out of the window and see nothing but feels and I feel very safe here. I wanted a dog, but it wouldn’t fit our lifestyle, so we got the cats and they’re our pride and joy.”
Since then, Naga has got new cats to live with her at home, called Missy, Xena and Bella.
She even posted a video of one of her furry friends in December 2020 which shows Bella playing on their cream leather sofa with the caption, “A short attention span… I can relate to that. Bella x.”
