Lucy Verasamy has taken to Instagram to post images of herself hiking in the Scottish countryside whilst on a staycation.
The 41-year-old ITV weather presenter shared a selection of stunning snaps of herself looking glam in skintight black leggings as she made the most of the beautiful landscape.
The first snap showed the brunette beauty leaning against a car bonnet with map in hand wearing black leggings, a grey sports hoodie and a blue baseball cap.
She paired the look with some low-key black trainers as she dressed to impress despite the upcoming exercise.
She captioned the image: “Not lost. Just love a map. And taking in the scenery…”
Verasamy attached hashtags to the post including #scotland, #mountains #secluded and #stunningscenery.
The location attached to the post showed that she has taken her staycation to the Scottish Highlands to admire the beautiful landscape.
The sky was overcast, in true Scottish style, but her beaming smile and the second snap of her walking at the bottom of a valley showed she was making the most of her hiking adventure.
The presenter could be seen walking in black leggings, with a grey hoodie and a black puffer coat as the weather cooled off on her hike.
Presenter and fellow nature lover Ben Fogle commented on the post: “Love an OS map. Good taste.”
Lucy has been travelling over the UK working with Marks & Spencer and TV chef Chris Baber to visit farms scattered across the UK.
The pair have travelled from Scotland to Jersey, with many stops along the way as Lucy has documented their fun together on her social media page.
Chris Baber jokingly commented on the new Instagram post: “Map looks heavy” – as a friendship has formed between the two following the Mark & Spencer campaign.
The post has attracted mass support from fans and is steadily approaching the 6k likes mark after only 4 hours of it being on her Instagram account.
Lucy’s previous post shows the presenter posing in a stunning snap with a sunset backdrop, wearing dark leggings and a long-sleeved jumper she turned away from the camera to take in the jaw-dropping views of the Oldshoremore Beach in northern-most Scotland.
Lucy revealed she is back presenting the evening weather segment on ITV after working with Chris Baber, and can be seen on the channel each night.
GMB airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
