James Corden first appeared on screens in the 1999 series, Boyz Unlimited but received his first big break after landing a role in the series, Fat Friends between 2000 and 2005.
However, he is perhaps best known for playing Smithy on the hit show Gavin & Stacey which ran for three years between 2007 and 2010, before returning for a one-off Christmas special in 2019.
James Kimberley Corden, 42, has gone on to become one of the most recognisable names in the showbiz industry, with his face plastered across various billboards in both the UK and Hollywood.
The father-of-three made the risky decision to pack up his London Belsize Park home in 2014 and head stateside after being offered a contract worth an estimated £4 million per year to present The Late Late Show.

While his career has gone from strength-to-strength, landing several Emmy nominations, a BAFTA nomination and an OBE, so has his bank balance.
James was once said to be worth around £22 million but thanks to his successful production company, it’s believed that he is sitting on an eye-watering £55 million fortune.
Fulwell 73, a music, television and videography production company in which James sits as one of five partners has more than £140,576 million sat in the bank, according to records obtained by Companies House.

This means that James’ share in the company which is behind the likes of One Direction’s This Is Us movie and The Late Late Show, as well as the hugely successful Carpool Karaoke series – which saw Adele’s appearance as the most-watched YouTube video of 2016 – is around £28 million.
The staggering amount is on top of his previous fortune, combined with his £7.5 million Los Angeles home, CBS salary and his £3 million London house.

Speaking to The Sun, an insider said: “James took a huge gamble when he moved to LA in 2015 to anchor The Late Late Show. It could have spectacularly backfired, but it has paid off big time.
“His career has gone from strength to strength and shows no sign of slowing down.”
They went on to add: “James has invested wisely in Fulwell, which is a company he cares deeply about. He and the other partners have developed it and made it blossom and it is in a very healthy financial state.
“It has a lot of overheads and his share isn’t cash in the bank but there is no doubt it has been a good investment.”
James who boasts the likes of Adele, Harry Styles and the British Royal Family as pals, was praised during the first coronavirus lockdown when he decided to pay the salary of around 60 members of staff at CBS.
The network is said to have placed around 60 members of their staffers on furlough when the world first came to a halt, with James digging into his own wallet for eight weeks.
