Jeff Brazier thinks his sons may almost be ready to watch their late mum Jade Goody’s appearance on Big Brother, which catapulted her to fame.
Jade, who passed away from cervical cancer 12 years ago, became an overnight sensation as a contestant on the reality show in 2002.
Since her tragic death, Jeff has brought up their sons Bobby, 18, and Freddie 16, with the help of family and wife Kate Dwyer.
The 42-year-old told The Mirror: “Freddie was always the one that was open to [talking].
“Yet for Bobby, it was too much for him. But recently Bobby said he was ready to read my book The Grief Survivors’ Guide.
“I wrote it for the boys about four years ago. It’s a real relief to hear him say he’s ready to start talking about his loss.
“And now watching things with their mum in, is something we are probably going to start doing soon.”
Both teens are working as models, but dad Jeff is adamant he wouldn’t want them to follow in his or Jade’s footsteps.
The presenter, who appeared on Channel 4’s Shipwrecked said it was a “very difficult path” into the industry.
The pair began dating in 2002 and were together for two years before splitting.
Bobby recently celebrated his 18th birthday, and Jeff gave him an emotional surprise with a cute party at home.
In an adorable video posted on Jeff’s wife Kate’s Instagram page, the house was covered in photos from his childhood.
The pictures were spread out and documented his life so far.
The teenager was seen beaming as his dad transformed their family home for his special day.
Kate captioned the post: “Happy Birthday Bobby B.
“And just like that he’s 18. I can’t work out how it happened but I’m sure glad it did.”
She went on to praise his work ethic, and how he decided to work on his birthday.

Earlier this year, Jeff opened up about watching his son grow up.
He spoke of Bobby’s determination to not let lockdown inconvenience his career.
“He’s certainly done a lot of work on his own self-development both physically and mentally during lockdown,” he said.
“I’ve been really proud of him actually. He’s been doing a lot of lovely things for himself.
“He is invested in himself and hopefully that will pay off for him.”
