Jeremy Clarkson fans upset as Diddly Squat Farm makes closure announcement

Jeremy Clarkson has revealed that Diddly Squat Farm shop will be closing for January and February.

It was explained in Instagram post on Tuesday that the 61-year-old TV star would be shutting his Oxfordshire farm shop for an entire two month period.

There was no further detail to confirm why the closure would be happening during the eight week period – although many fans seemed to have their own ideas.

The social media post read: “Diddly Squat Farm Shop open 9.30-4pm until 31st December.

“Closed January & February.”

Plans were revealed to close the farm shop for two months

Followers took to the comments section to express their sadness, along with their own views regarding the reasons for the farm being out of action.

“That definitely puts vacation plans on hold for a bit I will just have to wait until there’s a update so I can make plans,” explained one online user.

Another added: “So bummed. We had planned to visit on January 4.”

While others placed their own guesses: “Hopefully expanding it,” added one while a second said: “Hopefully filming.”

Jeremy’s Amazon Prime video show Clarkson’s Farm has proved to be such a hit with viewers that fans in their masses have be flocking to explore his very own farm shop.

The Who Wants To Be A Millionaire host allowed viewers into his farm to witness his efforts in becoming a fully fledged farmer.

As the programme proved to be so popular, the famous host was given the green light to go ahead with filming a second series.

Since the Top Gear star began selling his own produce, a stampede of tourists causing long traffic queues had been reported in the area – which didn’t make the TV presenter very popular with the locals.

The news about the upcoming closure will no doubt be welcomed by some of Jeremy’s neighbours who were unhappy about cars causing blockages in the narrow country roads near to the farm.
