Jeremy Clarkson's co-star Kaleb Cooper hits out over 'tractor driver' dig in new book

Kaleb Cooper has hit out at Jeremy Clarkson admitting he is “not happy” about how he refers to him in his new book.

The young farmer rose to farm when he starred alongside Jeremy in his hit Amazon Prime show Clarkson’s Farm.

Taking to Instagram he shared a tongue in cheek post with his 929k strong follower’s list as he plugged his friend’s new book release, Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat: A Year on the Farm.

Holding up a copy of the tome he addressed his fans in a video where he admitted it was the first-ever book he had read.

He captioned the post: “I read and reviewed my first ever book.”

And in the clip Kaleb called Jeremy out for not respecting his authority in his role on the farm.

He joked: “So I’ve discovered what this is – this is a book. And I’ve read my first ever book. Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat: A Year on the Farm, which is out today by the way.

Jeremy has penned a book on his time on the farm with Kaleb

“Now he refers to me as a tractor driver. Not too sure how I feel about that. I like to think of myself as the farm manager – as it is Kaleb’s Farm of course!

“Make sure you pick a copy up. Give it a read, let’s hope you learn something.”

Jeremy and Kaleb won over viewers of the show with their bantering partnership and have continued the comical rapport even since the series ended.

Meanwhile, the creators of the programme joined the fun with the Amazon Prime Video UK team suggesting he narrate the audio version of the book.

They commented: “We need you and Gerald to narrate the audiobook.”

Kaleb might struggle to find the time however as he and Jeremy are already busy filming the second season of the show.

Earlier this year Jeremy expressed his concerns for Kaleb’s future as he admitted money could become an issue for him if he ever wants to own his own farmland.

He told The Sun: “Kaleb’s fantastic but it worries me how he’ll ever be able to afford his own farm.

“He’s up against hedge fund managers now who don’t necessarily want to farm it.”
