Jesy Nelson’s decision to quit Little Mix at the end of 2020 is still the hot topic of conversation.
Despite calling time on her girl band days seven months ago, fans are still gutted that Jesy walked out on the group ahead of their UK tour.
However, Spice Girl Mel C insists it isn’t the end for Little Mix – likening the experience to that she faced when Geri Halliwell quit the Spice Girls.
Giving her take on the situation, Mel said: “It was tough.
“With our experience with Geri leaving we missed her. We went through a phase of being quite angry with her.

“But we understood it was something she needed to do and she did make her apology at Wembley a few years ago, to the fans and us actually.
“Now so much water has gone under the bridge. Life is full of so many twists and turns and nothing stays the same. You have to be adaptable and ready for change.”

Inviting Little Mix still have what it takes to enjoy chart success despite being a member down, Mel, who currently appears alongside her brother on Celebrity Gogglebox, said: “I absolutely adore Jesy, but the three girls carrying on I think are as fantastic now as they’ve ever been and they’ll all continue to do great things whatever they do.
“They are all incredible vocalists and great role models as well.”

Jesy quit Little Mix to focus on her mental health – explaining in a long statement that she had struggled being compared to her bandmates.
Earlier this year Daily Star revealed how she had cut ties with Sony Music to kick start a new solo music career.
Jesy has since confirmed the move and joined rival label Universal before hitting the studio.

The starlet has been teasing her new music with a series of Instagram clips from recording.
It’s not known when fans will be able to hear the first of the songs but it’s thought to be before the end of the year.
Meanwhile, despite leaking ahead of release, Little Mix are currently enjoying chart success with their new single Heartbreak Anthem.
The song is their first without Jesy and a collaboration with David Guetta and Galantis.
