Some people watching at home also picked up on Justin’s unique dance moves during his energetic routine.

Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “Has Justin Bieber got a gentleman’s itch?”

A second person posted: “Justin Bieber – didn’t his mum tell him to go to the toilet before he went on stage? Obviously needed to pee.”

“I think Justin Bieber forgot to go to the bathroom before recording,” a third social media user wrote.

A fourth person joked: “Ain’t it awful when you’ve got something in your shoe.”

Television stars Davina McCall and Alesha Dixon took to the stage alongside Paddy McGuinness, David Tennant and Lenny Henry to present the fundraising event with the total standing at £25,406,076 by just 8.30pm.

The evening was opened with a hilarious sketch by Dawn French’s Vicar of Dibley doing her best Lizzo impression, larking around on a video call to hit tune Juice.

Making sure to bring the laughs, Dawn showed off her dance moves and shook her Toblerone tubes along to the music before the hosts of the night were introduced.

Presenter Paddy also revealed a few cheeky details from his home life, admitting he blames his three children when he “pumps” at home and wife Christine asks where the bad smell has come from.

A host of A-List stars also grouped together for Jack Whitehall’s sketch on the woes of a year of using Zoom and video calls with multiple people.

Idris Elba, Kiera Knightley, Jonathan Ross and Anya Taylor-Joy were all seen trying to log into the call before Olivia Colman also hopped onto the call – late.

Comic Relief is an operating British charity, founded in 1985 by the comedy scriptwriter Richard Curtis and comedian Lenny Henry in response to the famine in Ethiopia.
