Kate Garraway says kids are 'absolutely loving' dad Derek being home

Kate Garraway has said her children are “absolutely loving” their father Derek Draper being home after spending the last year in hospital following his coronavirus battle.

Derek, 53, spent just over a year in intensive care after he contracted the virus in March 2020, only returning to his family home in North London on Wednesday evening.

On Good Morning Britain on Monday, Kate, 53, recalled how daughter Darcy, 15, and son Billy, 11 “are over the moon and overwhelmed in equal measure” to have their dad back.
