Katie Price and Carl Woods bedridden after negative reaction from Covid jabs

Former glamour model Katie Price and her partner Carl Woods have both suffered a terrible reaction from their first Covid jabs and are both reportedly bedridden.

The reality star had her injections over the weekend along with her boyfriend Carl. Katie’s eldest son Harvey also had his second jab.

Despite being rushed to hospital after receiving his first dose, Harvey, 18, who is high risk, reacted a lot better to his second jab and required no further support.

But Katie, 42 and Carl, 31, were not so lucky this time around.

Speaking to The Sun, an insider explained: “Katie and Carl went to get their first jab when Harvey had his second one.

“They are delighted that Harvey is fine this time but they both feel really terrible with a fever, nausea and fatigue.

“Both of them have had really achy arms and Katie is still struggling with the pain now.”

The source also expressed that in order to go on holiday the reality star knew she needed to get the injections done, even though she doesn’t enjoy it.

They also added that Katie is currently feeling unwell and cannot wait for the side effects to subside.

Research has shown that the vaccinations are safe to take but most people may experience “mild and short-lasting side effects” which may include a sore throat and fatigue.

Arm pain and fever were also possible side effects, according to a safety report published by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency.

However, the most frequently reported side effects from patients have been fever, chills, injection-site tenderness and pain, headaches, fatigue, joint and muscle pain, and nausea.

In February, Harvey was rushed to hospital after he suffered from a high temperature and shaking following his jab.

Harvey had received the Oxford/AstraZeneca jab because he was previously diagnosed with ADHD, autism, genetic condition Prader-Willi Syndrome and septo-optic dysplasia.

Due to his rare genetic health conditions, the teen falls within a priority group for the clinically vulnerable.

Doctors also confirmed that his reaction was because of the jab he received.

Once Harvey was able to return home from hospital, Katie updated her fans on social media.

The I’m A Celeb contestant said: “The doctors and nurses were fantastic so I can’t wait to still have my Covid injection and I still recommend everyone else have it and Harvey is safe and well.”
