Katie Price and Carl Woods rush to sunbed to top up tan as salons finally reopen

Katie Price and her boyfriend Carl Woods rushed to the sunbeds as beauty salons reopened in the UK today.

The 42-year-old former Page 3 model, who says she is trying for baby number six with former Love Island star Chris, headed straight to the salon together as the UK returns to somewhat more normal life as lockdown lifts.

Katie took to her official Instagram Story to share a snap of her bare legs from her shins down while laying on her back in a sunbed.

With white painted toenails and a pedicure, Katie wrote over the snap: “Yessss sunbed at last.”

Carl, 31, also updated his followers on what he was up to as he shared a clip of himself having a boogie, while getting his tan on.

Katie, who has five children, has been a longtime fan of sunbeds and often shares with her followers when she is having them done.

She previously said she “canes her body like its leather” and uses sunbeds three of four times a week, during a chat with Heat magazine.

Katie said: “(I spend) 15 or 20 minutes, but my skin is quite hydrated and not as badly damaged as some people’s.

“I don’t even use the goggles.”

To make sure she got her fix, the star even got a sunbed at her home.

It comes after Katie opened up about her mum, Amy Price, who has a terminal lung disease which is “slowing her down”, according to her daughter.

Speaking The Sunday Times Magazine Katie said: “She puts on a massive show of strength but her illness is slowing her down.

“She has joined a choir to open up her lungs. She’s not giving in without a fight.

“We’ve both got tough exteriors, neither of us show anyone what’s going on inside. Because we know we’re losing Mum, nothing goes unsaid. I know everything about her and she knows everything about me.”

“I miss holding her and giving her a cuddle, but there’s a lot of banter on our family Zooms too, because if we didn’t muck about we’d never get through it. She knows that out of everyone, I’ll be the one who cares for her at the end.”
