Katie Price claims 'evil' nanny filmed son Harvey in the bath in bid to sell videos

Katie Price has opened up about her traumatic experience at the hands of a nanny who filmed her son Harvey Price naked in the bath.

Writing in her new book Katie Price: Harvey and Me the former glamour model recollected how one employee sparked concerns from her when she started “acting really suspicious” after leaving her phone at her house by accident.

Katie, 43, has regularly hired help to enable her to care for Harvey, 19, who suffers from ADHD, autism, genetic condition Prader-Willi Syndrome, and septo-optic dysplasia.

Writing in the book about the incident Katie said: “She kept telling us that if the phone ever rang, we should just leave it.

“I kept thinking, ‘What is she hiding?’ So I went on her phone and saw all these videos of Harvey in the bath that she had secretly recorded and saved.

“We ended up calling the police. Nothing came of it, but we got rid of her straight away.

“After going through such a bad time, I felt more protective over Harvey than ever.”

Katie has previously had issues with two other nannies, sacking them after they allegedly had affairs with her ex-husband Kieran Hayler.

In Katie Price: Harvey and Me the reality star has also spoken about her struggle to keep Harvey’s weight under control due to complications of his Prader-Willi Syndrome.

She says she just couldn’t understand why he was gaining weight when he didn’t overeat as he hadn’t yet been diagnosed.

Katie wrote: “When he was three, he weighed five-and-a-half stone.

“I couldn’t understand why. He wasn’t overeating but if he had the choice, he would have just ate and ate until he was sick.

“I had to make sure I was strict about it. That’s because of his Prader-Willi Syndrome, a key feature is that they feel a constant sense of hunger.

“We didn’t know that at the time. He didn’t get diagnosed until he was a teenager.”

And she admitted at one stage she struggled to get her firstborn to eat anything except chips and kievs.

She added: “Although he was constantly hungry, it got to a point where he’d only eat potato smiley faces and mini kievs – he refused anything else,”

“Even if I got a big chicken kiev and chopped it up into smaller pieces, he wouldn’t eat it as he knew that it wasn’t the same shape and texture as the mini ones.”

Katie is also mum to Junior, 16, and Princess, 14, who she shares with Peter Andre, as well as Jett, seven, and Bunny, six, who she has with Kieran.
