Katie Price is ‘over the moon’ after the police decided to take action against an vile online troll who mocked her son Harvey Price.
The mum-of-five has long battled for tougher laws regarding online abuse, after seeing first-hand the horrible comments made towards her son via social media.
Katie, 42, was sent on the war path last year after a video shared on Instagram and TikTok featured a man with a ‘blacked-up’ face impersonating her 18-year-old.
A source said: “Katie is pleased the case is moving forward and action is being taken – it’ll show people that there are real consequences to internet trolling.”

According to The Sun, Katie has been contacted about appearing in court to give evidence.
The publication adds that Katie’s rep confirmed the story but added no further comment.
The man in the video was arrested on November 5 after the video went viral.
Sussex Police confirmed that a man in Hastings was detained “on suspicion of sending by public communication network an offensive/ indecent/ obscene/ menacing message”.
In the video, the man in question was joined by a woman who took on the role of Katie.
The couple acted out Harvey and Katie’s 2016 Loose Women appearance when Harvey said: “Hello you c***” live on the show.
Speaking to Daily Star about the case at the launch of her bath bomb range in December, Katie said: “Someone has been arrested.

“It is going to the Crown Court. Police are still looking for two other people.”
Katie recently admitted she fears for her son’s health after he tipped the scales at 29 stone.
Harvey’s Prader-Willi syndrome makes him constantly hungry and leaves him unaware when he is full.
While Katie, 42, has tried everything to keep his weight under control, she has now admitted she needs professional support and has made the tough decision to move him into care.
Katie said: “He will live there until he’s 25 and have his own space to study and keep fit.
“I need to get him the help he deserves because he will die if he doesn’t exercise.
“I need to get his weight down. We haven’t started training together yet as his breathing has got worse.
“It’s so bad. But at college he’ll be able to go swimming and work out with trained specialists.”
Katie added to The Sun: “I’m hoping he will make friends so he can socialise at the weekends, but if he has no plans then he can come home whenever he wants.
“He’s meant to start this September but with lockdown I don’t know if he will.”
