Katie Price famously had one steamy night with Gareth Gates while she was pregnant with Harvey – and she’s said the romp launched his career.
In her new book, Katie Price: Harvey & Me, the mother-of-five opened up on her brief experience with Gareth Gates.
Katie, who was still doing photoshoots while she was pregnant, confessed that she looks back at the outfits she wore when she was expecting Harvey and is baffled.
She said: “I should have thought, ‘Kate, put it away. You’re pregnant – no one wants you.’ But then again, hello Gareth Gates! He wanted a bit of the Pricey – even when I was six months pregnant.

“He denied losing his virginity to me at first, but once he finally admitted it, wasn’t that when his career started?”
Katie previously spoke in a TV interview and said the fling was “gross and disgusting”, adding: “It’s terrible – I was still young, I was pregnant, I didn’t have the dad about and I still wanted to be loved.
“It was wrong when I look back. It was over in seconds!”
At the time Gareth denied anything had happened before confirming that it was true the following year.

When Katie slept with Gareth, she was pregnant with Harvey and would party until 3am – but she still cared for her body and wasn’t drinking.
She said: “At the end of the day, I was pregnant, I wasn’t ill. You don’t have to stay in bed all the time just because you’re having a baby.
“I was single and having fun with my friends. I had morning sickness for the first few months, but apart from that, it was a perfect pregnancy.

“It couldn’t have gone any better and I felt great. I did everything by the book as well. Any foods they tell you to avoid, I avoided. And obviously I didn’t drink alcohol or smoke once.”
By the time Katie did give birth, she said she was “massive”, with the star 12 days overdue when she was finally induced.
On May 27, 2002, Katie gave birth to her son Harvey Price, who is now 19.
