A man who allegedly attacked Katie Price has been released under investigation following a thorough interview by police.
The 43-year-old reality star was taken to hospital while she sent police to her property in Essex following an incident back in August this year.
She told police she was violently attacked and driven to a friend’s house close by where she was tended to by paramedics.
Now, the Essex Police have told The Sun an individual has been released under investigation as officers continue to look into the case.
A spokesperson for the police department said: “A man arrested following reports of an assault in Little Canfield on 23 August has been released under investigation.”
It has previously been reported that the individual – who allegedly assaulted the mum-of-five – has been bailed three times before.
To be released under investigation means you have been released without charge with no obligation to return on bail while the investigation continues.
After the individual was arrested on August 23, he was released on bail until September 20, then re-bailed into October.
It comes after the loving mum vowed to have a drama-free 2022 following her drunken nightmare just three months earlier after she narrowly avoided jail time when she crashed her BMW.
In December, Katie was handed a 16-week suspended sentence in addition to a two-year driving ban following her conviction for drink-driving.
As people prepare to ring in the new year, the star promised to have the “greatest year of my life” on Instagram and was ready to “smash it” in 2022.
Katie shared an inspirational quote which read: “REPEAT AFTER ME: I am about to walk into the greatest year of my life!”
Alongside the positive caption, she wrote: “22 us my lucky number so my focus is to make it a drama free and actually have some good luck with all my new ventures and ideas I will smash it.”
And it appears that the former glamour model will be entering the new year fully vaccinated as she shared a clip of her covering her eyes as she received the Covid-19 booster jab online.
She battled her fear of needles as she shared a video with fans while she reassured viewers the process was a lot less painful than she anticipated it to be.
