Kelly Osbourne shuts down plastic surgery claims after jaw-dropping makeover

After sharing images of her glamourous transformation, Kelly Osbourne was inundated with comments and rumours that suggested she had previously had cosmetic surgery on her face.

But now, the TV personality has shut down any further speculation and took to Instagram on Monday to share her obvious annoyance regarding the surgery claims.

Sharing a candid video on the social media platform, while in hair and make-up, the 36-year-old captioned the post: “Let’s squash these stupid rumours!!! Can’t you just be happy for me?”

In the short 30 second clip, Kelly said: “Good morning everyone, I’m currently in hair and make-up right now.

“Erm, I just want to bring up a topic that you guys are all talking about because I’m always really honest and really upfront about what I’ve done to my body and who I am.”

She continued: “And I have not had plastic surgery, I’ve never done anything to my face other than a couple of injections to my lips, in my jaw and in my forehead, here.

“I do not lie, but thank you for the compliments.”

Fans of the star also backed up her sentiments and took to the comment section to show their support.

One fan penned: “Why do people even feel the need to comment s*** like that to you anyways, they must be jealous. You look amazing.”

While another supporter said: “And who cares if you did? I don’t understand why people always feel the need to put down others. You’re gorgeous. The end.”

Last year August, Kelly revealed that she had lost an incredible 85lbs after undergoing gastric sleeve surgery.

Speaking to Hollywood Raw podcast at the time, the star said: “I did it. I’m proud of it. I did the gastric sleeve.

“All it does is change the shape of your stomach. I got that almost two years ago. I will never ever ever lie about it ever. It is the best thing I have ever done.”

Kelly also admitted that the surgery did require a complete lifestyle change. She added: “The kind of surgery I had … if you don’t work out and you don’t eat right, you gain weight.

“All it does is move you in the right direction. So, anyone who’s thinking of doing something like this, really think about that.”
