Kerry Katona admits to ‘not being able to cope’ after she goes back to her natural hair colour.
The 41-year-old normally sports statement purple hair and extensions but has recently ditched them.
The mum-of-five is currently rehearsing for Sleeping Beauty at Oldham’s Queen Elizabeth Hall.
In an Instagram post, Kerry asked her 784 thousand followers whether she should keep her natural hair, get back to purple locks or take a trip down memory lane with blonde.
The former Atomic Kitten star went makeup-free for the snaps and admitted that it “feels so good.”
Kerry penned alongside her fresh-faced post: “Good morning you beautiful people….so I’m in rehearsals for panto and thought I’d give my hair a break from the Extensions and colour!!
“But I just can’t cope!! Omg look at how dark my natural hair colour is not to mention all the bl***y Grey hairs!!”
Kerry shared how much she loves going makeup-free and letting her “skin breathe.”
She continued: “I’m not really one for wearing makeup unless going somewhere or doing TV as it feels so good to give your face a break and let your skin breath!! Mmmm forgot what the point of this post was now.
“Oh yeah, I’ve got loads of grey hairs and want my extensions back in.
“But do I keep it purple which I just love! I like being that little bit different OR do I go back blonde???? OR do I just leave it till after panto to let it heal and see how it looks next year??????? HELP”
One fan commented: “Loving the natural colour Kerry, but you are fortunate that you look great blond, brunette or purple.
“You know me and my intuition Kerry and it’s telling me to suggest you let your hair heal and to celebrate those greys as the medals for all your hard work. Love ya!”
Another fan said: “It looks fine dark but I’d say blonde. Not a fan of the purple. Sorry.”
A third suggested: “Why don’t you have your hair balayage that way you can have your natural hair colour but have blonde through it x.”
Kerry admitted that she has grown a thick skin after sharing her natural selfies.
She added: “If I wasn’t who I was – being really thick-skinned – I will probably be feeling suicidal right now. I wouldn’t even want to leave the house.
“I wanted to have a look (online) to see what people have to say about my hair, and the comments were so vile that if I wasn’t stronger than what I am, I probably wouldn’t want to leave the house ever again.”
