Kimberley Walsh is soon to be expecting her third son and has thanked her lucky stars that she got to share the experience with her sisters – despite one taking place in the fictional world of Emmerdale.
Kimberley’s older sister Sally, 43, became pregnant a month after the Girls Aloud star and her younger sister Amy, who plays Tracy Metcalfe on Emmerdale, randomly found out she would also be pregnant on the soap.
According to Kimberley, Tracy didn’t let her fictional pregnancy get in the way of joining in with her siblings forth coming births.
However with Amy’s character giving birth in February she has been missing out on the last crucial few months, reports The Mirror.
Kimberley, 39, said: “We’ve all been pregnant, me and my older sister for real and my younger sister on the screen. She was constantly sending us pictures of her fake bump, it was a bit bizarre really.
“Sally and I have had enough babies between us to help her with the birth scenes, which she did amazingly. We did a good job of explaining the pain and terror of it all.”
Kimberley, who is due at the start of this month, says she can not wait for her new son to arrive and “get to know him”
“I’ve had the easiest time, but these last few weeks you start to feel, ‘OK, I’m done now’. I think a couple more weeks. I can’t wait for him to come and get to know him and his personality.”
Kimberley says sons Bobby, four, and Cole, two, are even more impatient with questions about when their brother will arrive
The singer and husband Justin Scott, who was in boy band ‘Triple 8’ in the early 2000s, think this will be their last child.

“I feel done with three. I feel like it’s nice to have a group rather than just two, it feels like a big family, which is what I always wanted. A family of five upsets the balance a bit, which I like,” she added.
Kimberley and the other members of Girls Aloud have met up recently with all focus currently on Sarah Harding’s battle with terminal cancer.
Kimberley said: “We had a little gathering in November, all five of us, which was lovely. With everything Sarah’s going through it was really important we had that time together.
“It’s lovely to reminisce and look back at those days, which feel such a long time ago now. We’d never planned a reunion. I’d love for my kids to experience a live Girls Aloud show, but where everyone’s head is at right now is focusing on Sarah.”
Kimberley is supporting McCain and Family Fund through a new social campaign, Teatime Takeover, supporting 150,000 families raising disabled or seriously ill children. For more information and to donate, visit www.mccainfamilyfund.co.uk.
