Lady Gaga's dog walker finally released from hospital after horrific shooting

Lady Gaga’s dog-walker has been released from hospital after being shot.

Ryan Fischer was shot by dognappers last month as he walked the mega-star’s favourite pooches.

And he has revealed he is lucky to be alive after one of his lungs collapsed following the shocking incident.

Ryan had to have a part of his lung removed but thankfully survived the horrific attack in which assailants tried to steal Lady Gaga’s beloved dogs Gustav and Koji.

The thieves were reported to want to hold the dogs to ransom in return for a sizeable cash payout.

Ryan tried to fend off the attacker during the harrowing ordeal but was shot whilst trying to protect the pooches.

He shared an update to reveal his “complicated recovering” has taken a month in hospital.

Ryan posted a video of himself on Instagram seated upright in a hospital bed with plasters and all-manner of medical paraphernalia attached to his body.

And in the video, he reveals: “In days I had gone from bleeding out on a sidewalk, to overly-active ICU patient (which they were VERY not used to), to just waiting for my lung to heal so I could go home: everything appeared quite straight forward.

“And so, with the chest tube removed (which I can only equate to an alien baby extraction) and my blood oxygen stable, the journey outside to recover with loved ones began.

“I was prepared to quietly start a path to healing from the emotional trauma and continue on my way. Life would be back to normal soon enough.

“I had truly been confronted with my mortality.”

But then he changed out of his hospital gown and into regular clothing before dancing around the room to Carly Simon’s Coming Around Again.

The quirky video ended with him putting on a black and blue tank top before finally leaving the hospital.

He wrote on social media: “Along with accepting the news that I was about to be readmitted, several nurses and doctors told me how they had been in the room when I came in with my gunshot. How they didn’t think I was going to make it.”

Ryan was shot four times on February 25 whilst looking after Lady Gaga’s dogs.

He eventually came out of intensive care, and, after a plea from the Hollywood A-lister, Lady Gaga had her dogs returned to a police station by a mystery woman.

The woman claimed she had found the French bulldogs tied to a post.

Investigators at the time probed whether the kidnapping was politically motivated because Lady Gaga famously sang at President Joe Biden’s inauguration ceremony.

The pop star offered a $500,000 reward for the safe return of her two pets, both worth to be an estimated $2000 to $3000 each.
