Lady Gaga's dogwalker shot four times by men who stole two of the singer's dogs

Lady Gaga’s dogwalker has been shot four times in the chest while caring for her pet French bulldogs.

Ryan Fischer was walking Gaga’s pet dogs Koji, Miss Asia and Gustavo in Los Angeles on Wednesday evening when he was assaulted by two men.

Fischer, 30, was reportedly shot outside his home on Sierra Bonita Avenue, with the men stealing two of the singer’s dogs before fleeing the scene by car.

Police arrived at the scene to find Mr Fischer conscious but barely breathing, according to reports.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital in a “grave” state, Daily Mail has reported.

Police said the gunmen were witnessed leaving the scene in a white BMW after the assault.

Public Information Officer Jeff Lee from the LA police department told The Sun: “We had a shooting that took place at 1500 block of N Sierra Bonita Avenue at 9:40pm.

“Male unknown suspect fired a gunshot. Victim was male white 30 years of age.

“Victim was transported to local hospital in unknown condition. No arrest made yet.”

Speaking to the publication, a neighbour described Mr Fischer, whose condition is currently unknown, as a “lovely” and “friendly” person.

They said: “I see Ryan all the time. He’s a lovely, friendly guy. It’s terrible. He never boasts about working for Lady Gaga, he just says he ‘works for someone important’.”

According to TMZ, the A Star Is Born actress has offered a £500,000 reward to anyone returning the dogs, “no questions asked”.

Gaga has yet to publicly speak out on the shooting or theft of the dogs.

Trusted employee Mr Fischer had been caring for Gaga’s beloved pet dogs while she spent some time in Italy, leaving her LA home behind.

Gaga’s dogs Koji and Gustavo were stolen, but her third dog, Miss Asia, managed to escape, running away from the crime scene.

It is not clear whether Gaga was specifically targeted in the assault.

As a breed, French bulldogs are popular, expensive, and can be sold for as much as $10,000 (roughly £7,000) in the US.

The Poker Face hitmaker regularly shares pictures of her dogs on social media, with Miss Asia even landing her own Instagram account.

Gaga posed alongside the pet on the cover of magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar and V, with her dogs participating in photoshoots for campaigns for brands like Coach and Shiseido.

With Miss Asia earning 220,000 Instagram followers over recent years, her account shows a number of photos of each of Gaga’s pet dogs.

During a 2014 interview with the late Karl Lagerfeld for Harper’s Bazaar, Gaga described Miss Asia’s mild-mannered nature.

She said: “She never barks or makes noise; she just looks at me with her big ears.”
