Liam Gallagher admits being a solo artist is strange and a “very lonely place”.
The former Oasis frontman said he does not “know why anyone would want to be a solo star”.
But he added: “Oh well mustn’t grumble as it’s going well.”
And asked about a survey claiming 60% of Brits don’t want an Oasis reunion, he says: “Yeah so what about the other 80 per cent.”
However one fan pointed out “Liam that makes it 140%” and another said: “This ain’t Russia m8.”
It comes after Liam hit out at today’s rock ‘n’ roll stars for not being wild enough.
He took to Twitter recently and penned: “The problem with rock n roll is there’s no rock and roll stars.
“Every **** thinks they are an artist these days. Woman artist ooh la la.”
One fan asked him what qualifies someone as a rock ’n’ roll star. He replied: “Not calling yourself an artist.”
Father-of-four Liam also reignited his feud with brother and former Oasis band member Noel by telling him to”“F*** off” after his group High Flying Birds were nominated for Radio X’s Record of The Year for their single Flying On The Ground.
Noel and Liam have spent more than two decades publicly fighting.
Oasis first broke up during the mid-90s and ultimately ended their time together in 2009.
At the centre of the band’s split was the difficult relationship between the Gallagher siblings, which has remained turbulent since.
It has been difficult over the years for fans to keep track of the brothers’ relationship and the latest incidents in their ongoing feud.
In a recent interview, Liam said that he would continue to make jibes at his brother regardless of the consequences.
Speaking to DJ Zane Lowe, Liam said: “I don’t care about getting Oasis back together. But he prods me, and I prod him, and I like winding him up.”
Tensions reportedly began to rise during one of their gigs in LA when Liam apparently changed the lyrics to their track Live Forever.
