Liam Gallagher was always being booted out of the venue where he launched his singing career.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of Oasis forming.
They played their first gigs at the Boardwalk in Manchester with Liam and Noel back in 1991.
The club shut in 1999 having given bands such as James early gigs and former owner Colin Sinclair said: “Liam was barred from there more than anyone else!
“Everyone would smoke weed in the rehearsal rooms downstairs and nobody would mind because it was just them in there.
“But you couldn’t smoke in the venue upstairs.
“Liam was forever walking upstairs smoking a spliff and being told he would have to leave.

“But because he was so strong willed he kept trying it on – and he kept being escorted out!
“That happened several times.
“If we had let Liam in there smoking a spliff, everybody would have wanted to do it and the police would shut us down.
“Liam wasn’t aggressive and he was always fine when he was asked to leave.

“He was the sort of person you could argue with one night and have a beer with the next.
“There was never any malice, but you had to admire his cheek!
“I always thought it was that cheekiness that helped make him the massive star he went on to become.”
Liam has also dropped a number of hints that Oasis fans won’t have to wait too much longer for a much-anticipated reunion of the band.

Whilst he and brother Noel have been feuding for years, Liam has said that a reunion “is going to happen” in response to a fan on social media.
When asked who out of One Direction and Oasis would be more likely to reunite, he replied: “Oasis.”
Noel has also spoken about his regrets about walking out before the band’s final gig together in 2009.
He told Daily Star: ” “We were getting p***** and fighting and then me going: ‘F*** it, I’m going home, f*** off!’ With the benefit of time, I don’t know whether it would have been better to stay and do the gig which would have been like a monumental, mad f***ing Oasis gig because the fight would have carried on to the stage, maybe not the physical fighting but the verbals between us.
“It would have been a mad gig.
“Sometimes I think: ‘I wish I had the memory of that gig.’ That would have been the way to go out. But it had to happen.”
