Liberty X star Michelle Heaton has checked into rehab, a rep for the singer had confirmed.
The start, 41, is undergoing treatment for alcohol after turning to booze following a series of medical problems.
The star is said to have used alcohol ‘as a crutch’ after having two large scale operations.
In 2012 Michelle underwent a hysterectomy before having a double mastectomy in 2015.
An insider said: “Michelle was left feeling like she had lost so much of what made her a woman and when she went into early menopause that brought with it a whole other collection of problems.

“She was just about coping when lockdown hit last year, but the effect of being at home and being unable to distract herself, saw her hit rock bottom.”
A rep for Michelle confirmed that she had entered a rehab facility, before adding to The Sun: “She has the love and support of her family and friends.”
Michelle also struggled with the recent death of her friend Nikki Grahame.

In a tribute to Nikki who passed away aged 38 earlier this month, Michelle admitted she was scared to see her in what turned out to be her final weeks due to the severity of Nikki’s anorexia.
Posting online, the former Popstars star wrote: “I was scared to see you… to say anything that may be a trigger to lose you… I was a coward and I’m so sorry.”

Prior to entering rehab, Michelle has spoken frankly about struggling to cope during an early menopause.
It was bought on due to her hysterectomy.
Michelle said candidly: “With us being so young and going through it and with the kids being so young as well, I don’t have that group of women around me who are going through it at the same time. So, it’s really hard.”
