Limp Bizkit fans were left with jaws on the floor as frontman Fred Durst’s radical transformation caught many Twitter fans by surprise.
The American rapper, 50, who is famous for his hat collection, swapped his baggy t-shirt and backwards facing cap for a sophisticated orange shirt.
Looking totally reformed, Fred’s natural grey locks were showcased – making him appear unrecognisable to many.
The frontman is normally clean shaven but instead rocked a new moustache that matched his hair colour.
One online user circulated the image on Twitter, telling other users: “Fred Durst deleted all his Insta posts and is rebranding.”
The post was met with thousands of likes and hundred of comments – with many folk claiming he looked like other famous celebrities.
One supportive person penned: “I’m here for the rebrand, sir.”
A second response read: “Don’t think I’ve ever seen this man without a ball cap on. Until now.”
Another declared: “It’s like he’s trying out a mix of James Hetfield’s 80s and 90s looks.”
As a fourth said: “I can’t unsee James May whenever I look at this.”
While a fifth person wrote: “He looks like Richard Branson’s stunt double decided to do the American Chopper stache.”
And someone else added: “Looks like he’s going from ‘break stuff’ to ‘buy some lawn and garden stuff at Home Depot on Saturday.'”
The nu-mental band singer had deleted all of his previous Instagram posts, leaving just one new image of himself.
After Fred took a step away from the music scene, he decided to take a different career avenue entering the movie world in 2006 and began working in independent films.
More recently, in 2018 he directed a semi-autobiographical film Moose which he co-wrote about a run-in with an obsessed stalker.
