Little Mix ensure Jesy Nelson 'won't profit' from tour as she lands solo deal

According to reports, Little Mix have ensured that Jesy Nelson will not profit from their up and coming tour and have cut financial ties with the starlet.

Jesy, 29, announced that she was leaving the girl group created by Simon Cowell last year, causing devastation for many fans.

At the time, the star claimed her mental health had suffered from being in a band as she made a clean break to pursue her own solo career.

Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards decided to continue as a trio, meaning that Jesy could have cashed in on their tour had she have still remained a director of the Little Mix business.

However, it would seem that she may have missed out on making a small fortune after it was confirmed that she is no longer part of the company.

An insider reported to The Sun: “Jesy could have made megabucks if she’d remained as a director of Little Mix’s business, Eternal Magic Touring, just like Victoria did with the Spice Girls.

“Leigh-Anne, Jade and Perrie are playing 24 dates from next April, including two sold-out nights in London.

“They are expecting to make almost £5million from those gigs and if Jesy had remained on board as a director of the firm, she would’ve been privy to cash from the band’s live shows even if she didn’t sing a note.”

The informant added: “But this was the only fair way for everybody going forward.

“It wouldn’t have seemed right for Jesy to remain part of it.”

The news comes after Jesy announced that she had teamed up with Polydor Records and Universal Music Group to unleash her solo adventure.

Taking to Instagram, she shared a picture of herself posing against the company logo.

In the bombshell picture, the former X Factor contestant stunned as she showed off her new lighter and lengthy locks.

She wore a cool beanie hat, white slashed combat style trousers and a teeny black crop top.

Jesy captioned: “So excited to announce that I’ve signed my first ever solo record with @polydorrecords @universalmusicgroup.

“This is such a pinch me moment. I cannot wait for you guys to hear what I’ve been working on.”
