Loose Women star Ruth Langsford has finally revealed the sweet meaning behind her colleague Stacey Solomon’s baby name.
Stacey announced the name of her first daughter yesterday as Rose Opal Esme Solomon-Swash
The presenter and fellow panel members passed on their congratulations to Stacey, and discussed the reasons for the adorable floral name.
Talking about the adorable little girl’s middle name, Opal, Ruth revealed that is Stacey’s birth stone, and she was born on Stacey’s birthday.
“It has special significance for Stacey and Joe” said Ruth.
Ruth also shared that Stacey has two Australian opal gemstones in her engagement ring, as it was in Australia that Stacey met her fiancé Joe.

Carol McGiffin marvelled: “It’s all so thought through! So romantic!”
Fans have been congratulating Stacey and Joe on their adorable new arrival.
Stacey captioned the announcement: “Rose Opal Esme Solomon-Swash. Our beautiful flower, our precious jewel, who is ever loved.
“It’s been the most magical week. We love you to the moon and back our magical little Rose, ” she wrote in a sweet tribute.
