Lorde has teased her first new single in almost four years with racy artwork which leaves little to the imagination.
lla Yelich-O’Connor, also known as Lorde, debuted in 2013 with her EP titled The Love Club.
The New Zealand artist released a follow-up record three years later, in 2017, but since then she had produced no new music.
The pop singer has now confirmed she is releasing a new record titled “Solar Power”.
She wrote on her website: “Solar Power.” “ARRIVING IN 2021 … PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE.”
She also added jaw-dropping artwork from the album showing a photo of woman, who resembles her, running on a beach wearing a thong bikini and a yellow top.
The camera is pointing up from the ground at the bombshell’s legs and highlights her pert rear.
The Love Club contained the international chart-topping single, ‘Royals’, which shot the singer to stardom.
In 2013, the singer signed with Universal Music Group who officially released her EP and then her debut LP, Pure Heroine., which became one of the biggest selling records of 2014.
Lorde had hinted a new album was on its way but has not yet confirmed its release date.
The artist has been announced as a headliner at Primavera 2022, which could signal the release of the new album is imminent.
And the festival’s website has teased her new album – saying: “Lorde… will emerge from her retirement with her third album after her unforgettable visit in 2018.”
