Lorraine Kelly apologises as Dancing on Ice's Graham Bell swears live on show

Lorraine Kelly was left shocked with her hand over her mouth before later apologising for Graham Bell ‘s swearing on the show.

The newly eliminated Dancing on Ice contestant spoke to Lorraine on her ITV show when he recalled a time at the Winter Olympics when he was surrounded by armed police.

At one point, when he remembered his shock at finding himself in a tricky situation, Graham said “s***”.

Lorraine clapped her hand over her mouth but continued her chat with Graham, discussing his time on Dancing on Ice.

After the conversation came to a close, Lorraine told viewers: “Sorry for that wee naughty word that slipped out from Graham.”

Graham spoke to Lorraine about his time on Dancing on Ice, with him being the second celebrity to be eliminated on Sunday night.

The 55-year-old was sent home by a unanimous judges’ vote after a tense skate off against Rebekah Vardy, who landed in the bottom two.

But Lorraine asked him about his time as an Olympic skier too – and the time he stole a flag.

He said: “We always had a bit of a party afterwards and we had a good party in Sarajevo.

“I was kind of… enjoying myself…

“I climbed up a flagpole, was untying this flag and all my mates down at the bottom – I thought they were there.”

He went on: “I looked down and they’d gone and they’d been replaced by armed police and it was like, ‘Oh, s***.'”

But the story had a funny end, as Graham explained: “The fellow too me back to the Olympic Village in the back of a police car – but they let me keep the flag, and I’ve still got it.”

Graham had been disappointed to leave Dancing on Ice, saying: “I think I gave it everything. I felt that we had a lot more [to give].”

He was partnered with Karina Manta, but had originally been training with Yebin Mok.

Sadly, Yebin was injured before their first performance and she didn’t get the chance to rejoin Graham before he was eliminated.

Meanwhile, Billie Shepherd was absent from Sunday’s show due to the death of her grandmother, while Rufus Hound missed the show as he was self-isolating because of coronavirus.

Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV
