Louise Redknapp declares she's 'not in despair' after ex Jamie welcomes newborn

Louise Redknapp has denied claims that the star is “in despair” following Jamie Redknapp ‘s happy news.

Jamie Redknapp and his now wife Frida Andersson welcomed their new baby Raphael last month – weeks after the duo tied the knot in an intimate ceremony.

Sources have previously claimed that Louise was left in despair following the news of her ex’s new romance and welcome addition to his family.

However, in an Instagram post Louise has debunked the rumours and opened up on Jamie’s news as she confessed she’s “loving” her life and is in a very “positive headspace” at the moment.

Louise said: “I’d really like to clarify that Louise is not in despair or anything like it.

“I have my two gorgeous boys that I adore more than anything in the world, the best family around me and I’m having the time of my life in my career and with the most wonderful friends that a girl could ask for.”

She added: “I’d like to make it clear that I’m in the most positive of headspaces and loving my life. Here’s to all the ladies out there that are in control of their lives and living their very best lives!”

Louise and Jamie share their sons Charley, 17, and Beau, 12, together during their near 20-year marriage.

The pair wed in June 1998 as they tied the knot in a low-key, private ceremony, before requesting a divorce after 19 years of marriage, with it officially finalised in 2018.

Two years later, in August 2020, Jamie started dating Frida Andersson before their quick engagement turnaround and the duo ultimately tied the knot at Chelsea Registry Office in October 2021.

Jamie announced the arrival of their son Raphael Anders Redknapp on November 24, as he wrote: “Meet Raphael Anders Redknapp we’re so In love , mum is doing so well too.

The couple were inundated with messages of congratulations, and Jamie has been sharing rare updates, including his first time taking Raphael out, on his Instagram.
