Love Island 2021 weekly schedule and where to watch

Summer is here and that can mean only one thing – Love Island has returned for another series of flirting, sunbathing and recoupling.

This season has already seen its fair share of outrage and drama, with plenty of cliffhangers and a shock-dumping. And with the series just kicking off – there will be many more twists and turns to follow as the Islanders persevere in their hope of finding love.

Love Island is a marathon, not a sprint. With the average season airing for 55 hours, it’s important to keep on top of the gossip and not get lost.

Is Love Island on every night?

It’s been reported that this season should last for around two months and will be aired six days a week. But when will the show be hitting our screens and how can we catch up on by-gone episodes?

Love Island is scheduled every week from Monday through to Sunday at 9pm, missing out Saturdays.

This means that the show will be on your screens every Sunday, but will take a break on Saturday evenings.

Usually fans of the show will be busy on a Saturday night, so this frees up time for them to enjoy their weekend plans.

However there’s another reason for a weekly hiatus every Saturday – and that’s because it’s the cast’s day off!

Saturdays on Love Island are spent relaxing outside of the villa – however producers still keep a close eye on the contestants.

“They don’t want you to talk about what is going on,” Kem from season three previously told ITV’s This Morning .

“You get one day off per week,” Kem continued, “What happens is, it gives them a day to clean the villa, and you take your mics off, and normally we go to the beach.”
