Jake Quickenden has joined calls for Love Island bosses to add subtitles to this years show after viewers complained they couldn’t understand what people were saying.
Fans of the hit ITV2 show took to Twitter to claim they found it hard to follow what hunk Brad McClellan was saying due to his strong Geordie accent.
Many insisted they were mishearing the buff lad, admitting they thought he told the girls he was a Libra – his star sign – than that his job was a labourer.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer said: “Can we get subtitles for Brad canny deal with that like #LoveIsland.”
Another asked: “Can we get subtitles for Brad please #loveisland.”
A third added: “I genuinely thought Brad said he was a Libra, not a ‘labourer’
Subtitles please #Love Island.”
A fourth chimed in: “Nah Love Island needs subtitles because WTF is anyone saying”
Meanwhile, Dancing on Ice winner Jake Quickenden, 32, tweeted playfully: “I need subtitles on with Brad #loveisland.”
