Love Island fans have threatened to boycott the show after fearing that Kaz Kamwi could be dumped from the villa.
It comes after a shock recoupling sent shockwaves through the villa on Friday night’s episode of the ITV2 dating show, revealing that one of the Love Island ladies will be sent packing their bags as whoever isn’t picked will be booted off of the show.
The bombshell recoupling news came after Faye Winter received a text which read: “Islanders. It’s come to recouple. Please all gather around the fire pit immediately.”
All of the girls, including fashion blogger Kaz, 26, were asked to line up in front of the notorious fire pit, where it was the boys’ turn to choose who they wanted to couple up with and save from a brutal dumping.
The exception to the rule was newbie Andrea-Jane Bunker – also known as AJ – who gets to pick her boy first before new boy Danny Bibby chooses his partner, followed by the rest of the hunky blokes.
AJ received a text which read: “AJ as the newest girl, you’ll get the first pick of who you want to couple up with. And then Danny as the newest boy will choose who he wants to couple up with. The rest of the boys will each pick. The girl not chosen to be in a couple will be dumped from the island.”
However, fans on social media became worried that Kaz will be the next Islander to be kicked from the island, with many taking to Twitter to threaten Love Island bosses that they’ll stop watching the show if she gets dumped.
One protesting user commented: “If Kaz goes home no one’s watching the rest of this cr*ppy season!! Be careful ohhhh.”
A second fuming fan agreed and wrote: “If Kaz ends up going home I’m definitely giving up on this series because it’s already so dry.”
A third fan penned: “If Kaz isn’t picked I’m done with love Island ffs.”
A fourth weighed in and said: “If Kaz is not picked I will not be watching this sh*t again.”
A fifth then went as far to say they’ll never watch the show again, including future seasons.
They added: “If Kaz goes home I will never watch this show again.”
New boy Danny chose to whisk Kaz away for a date during the episode, and the pair bonded over their shared loves of fashion and ambition.
Danny revealed he’s starting his own clothing line, saying: “I’m just starting my own clothing brand. I’m a very ambitious guy, and you seem the same.”
He continued: “I’ve recently bought my first house, so I live with my cat. Me and my cat.”
Kaz appeared impressed and replied: “Someone driven and someone who makes an effort.”
She could be in trouble though because Danny also hit it off with Sharon Gaffka, with the two of them discussing how important ambition is in a partner.
Love Island continues tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV2.
