Love Island fans were shocked after it was confirmed that a re-coupling will take place on Friday’s show.
This time, the girls will be the responsible for choosing who to pair up with, no doubt leaving two guys vulnerable for eviction.
The bombshell was dropped at the end of Thursday’s episode, leaving viewers completely in suspense as to what will happen.
One thing’s for sure – things have certainly been shaken up in the villa after two new boys entered the programme on Thursday evening.
Chuggs Wallis and Liam Reardon have already made an impression on Sharon Gaffka and Faye Winter, who were selected by the public to attend dates with the new entrants.
In the preview for tomorrow’s episode, narrator Iain Stirling explained that “the new boys turn heads” as the clips showcased Chuggs and Liam getting close to the girls.
Iain adds: “And a re-coupling shakes their feathers.”
Chloe Borrows received the jaw dropping text and read it out loud to the other islanders.
She said: “Tonight there will be a re-coupling and the girls will choose which boy they want to couple up with.”
Brad McClelland and Hugo Hammond looked particularly shell shook as the news was uncovered.
As it stands, both Brad and Hugo could be in a couple as neither have yet established a connection with any of the girls.
Brad has made it clear that he would like to pursue Chloe but she didn’t seem entirely keen after he’d failed to ask her any questions about herself during a chat which she said was “awkward”.
Hugo has been trying to get to know Faye after she was side-lined by Brad who wanted to try his chances with Chloe.
However, since new boys Chuggs and Liam have showed up, there is certainly healthy competition in the villa.
If the VT is anything to go by, it seems Chloe and Faye are lapping up the attention from the newbies.
Love Island continues on ITV2 at 9pm.
