Love Island fan-favourite Liberty Poole has quickly won the hearts of the nation, but it seems she’s been waiting for that love and adoration for some time.
The beauty has reportedly never felt loved in return, prompting her to go onto the ITV show and find herself someone who will give her the romance she truly deserves.
Could that man be Jake Cornish? Liberty’s best friend Paige Skinner thinks so.
Paige, who has known Liberty since they were 11, has said that Liberty is going into the villa to find love after splitting from her ex-boyfriend nine months ago.
She told Daily Star Online: “Liberty has only been in one relationship which was on and off for two years. She has always felt like she was in love but has never been loved properly back – hopefully she will find love in the villa.

“I really like Jake and I can see that she definitely does like him and there’s strong potential there – but it’s too early to say yet if he’s the right person.
“I thought that Lib would step forward for him on the first day, he’s her type, he’s a cheeky chappy and they get on really well. As long as he keeps Lib happy, I’m happy.”
Paige admitted that she wasn’t shocked to hear that her bestie was heading into the villa, adding: “Lib is a beautiful girl inside and out, she has such a great personality. She’s a natural on the show, I was so happy to find out she was going on.”
