Love Island’s Salma Naran apparently is never short of attention on the outside says her long-time best friend, which comes as no surprise as the 20-year-old influencer is absolutely stunning.
But what we didn’t know is that she’s already had famous folk trying to chirpse her in the hope of bagging the bombshell babe.
The Dubliner model hasn’t had much luck in the villa as of yet but according to her best friend Ionela De Almeida says she isn’t short of lads falling at her feet in real life.
Irish-based nail technician, Ionela, 22, said: “Yeah it is a regular thing.”
She also shared that she often gets stopped in the street for her looks along with social media attempts too.
“Like on Instagram and people texting her all the time – even like with some singers – the English boys, they contact her on her Insta page. She has no problem with boys at all.”
When asked which star have popped into her DMs, Ionela continued: “I personally wouldn’t know their names but definitely some English singers.”
She also stated that would definitely approach if she is interested in them, on the outside anyway, and said: “She knows if she wants something, and she will go for it and get it.”
Salma and Ionela have been the closest of friends since they were children and class themselves as cousins, even living with each other during the lockdown period.
Ionela says she has a big support network and wants to see her coupled up with Welsh lad Liam Reardon, 21, who is currently coupled up with Essex lass Millie Court, 24.
Her friend added: “Before she went into the villa she told me that watching love Island, obviously her type is tall, dark and handsome like everybody, but personality-wise she loves Liam.
“She said his personality was great, he was mature so maybe that’s why she chose him for the three-way kiss.”
When asked if she would step on Millie’s toes, Ionela added: “Knowing Salma, she wouldn’t want to be in an uncomfortable situation.
“I think that even if she would go in with Liam, she would try to make Millie feel comfortable to not have any bad vibes.
“She’s definitely a girls-girl.”
Her bestie also highlighted the fact that during last night’s episode, Salma was nowhere to be seen, which also angered many fans at home who were watching the show.
When asked if she thought Samla deserved more air time, Ionela said: “Yes, I completely think she should of. Even if it was her in a conversation with the girls or doing her makeup etc…”
“I hope something is in that card that can benefit her,” she added when talking about Wednesday’s episode.
“I’m hoping for anything at this point. I just want everyone to get to know the person she is at least.”
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
