The Love Island lineup is always heavily judged and people always hazard a guess at what surgical enhancements the contestants may have had. But who has actually undergone what, you ask?
From series seven stunners to past seasons’ bombshells, the Daily Star takes a closer look into some of the nation’s fave Islanders to disclose what procedures they’ve opted for over the years.
Now, all of these stars have spilt the tea on their surgeries themselves, we’re not about to point the finger, so let’s take a look at what they’ve revealed.
Mary Bedford
The 22-year-old model from Wakefield has recently hit the press for some resurfaced snaps of her – pre-surgery.
Fans were astonished at just how different the star looked before she started to alter her appearance.
Old photos on her Instagram profile show the beauty looking remarkably different before she had cosmetic work done on her face.
Prior to going in the villa, Mary admitted to undergoing a brow lift, Botox procedure, as well as lip filler, and a boob job.
Speaking about the brow lift, Mary said: “If you’ve got an insecurity you’re best off getting it fixed, there’s no point going through life insecure.”
She also fessed up to injecting 0.5ml of filler pumped into her lips, as well as using an Invisalign treatment due to help fix her worries surrounding her teeth.
In a YouTube video on her channel, she’s also spoken about having breast implants at the age of 21.
Mary explained: “Obviously I’m very young. I’m not promoting it to be young, but for me, I’m modelling myself every day so I was very thin and had no boobs at the time So I knew I wasn’t going to get them naturally. It was a huge anxiety.”
She added: “That was the best decision I’ve ever made. It literally just gave me confidence. [up] In bikini and everything.”
Olivia Attwood
The best Islander of all time for quippy one-liners has also revealed in detail what work she’s had done.
The 30-year-old has been open about her boob jobs, lip filler and Botox ever since starring in the third series.
But more recently she has opted for a more “natural look” and decided to dissolve her lips and have a breast reduction.
Talking about her decision to size down, Olivia said: “When I had the big boobs – the first boob job – that was the fashion.
“Everyone wanted those sort of like Katie Price, Jodie Marsh boobs – and then the fashion changed, and I felt uncomfortable.”
Earlier this year, she had her breast implants removed after stating they looked “too big” on her frame.
Olivia was also convinced by her surgeon to dissolve her lip filler, which she had taken out in January.
The star added: “I’ve been having lip fillers for years, probably five or six years
“That lip has started to come out of the lip line and started to look really puffy – something I never wanted, so I’m actually excited to start again fresh. It looks better than it did because it was over-filled.”
Faye Winter
Faye is another one of the current Love Island contestants to be open about going under the knife.
The star, 26, often makes a nod to her eye-popping enhancements and often jokes about needing more Botox after the stress of the villa.
In a challenge on the ITV2 dating show, she revealed she had lip filler, Botox and her boobs done.
In this resurfaced snap with her sister, Faye looked miles apart from how she does post-surgery, but nonetheless just as gorgeous.
On the show, she discussed how dissolving lip filler can leave your lips looking “saggy” and went one step further, adding: “Mine looked like an 80-year-old man’s ball sack!”
Molly-Mae Hague
The biggest and most influential icon to come out of the programme is without a doubt Molly-Mae, who is responsibly for so many trends it’s ridiculous.
Molly-Mae, 22, has recently admitted that she had made “mistakes” by undergoing so many unnecessary procedures so young and vowed to “reverse” them.
The model has been documenting the changes she’s been making and revealed that she’s ditched the fillers in her face and lips, had the composite bonds removed from her teeth and swapped her long hair extensions for a short bob.
Speaking on Instagram, Molly-Mae explained: “I think I’ve taken all the steps that I want to take now in reversing all the mistakes I made with the fillers, getting things done that I didn’t necessarily need to get done and didn’t think through at the time, about two or three years ago.”
Although she never confessed to any specific surgeries, she did mention her lip fillers and how she ended up getting them dissolved in October last year.
On her YouTube channel, she said: “This is something I’ve been putting off now for the last six months. I am getting my lips dissolved.
“My lip filler journey has been a very, very long one. I’ve been getting my lips filled with filler since I was about 17 which is literally ridiculous.”
Sharon Gaffka
The pageant queen made no secret that she proudly had work done before she entered the Love Island villa.
Sharon, 25, spoke on the show about having her boobs done and opting for filler injections and Botox.
The star candidly revealed her cosmetic procedures in the same challenge as Faye did.
The civil servant even told fellow Islander Hugo Hammond to educate himself on the reasons people get cosmetic work done after he stated he didn’t like “fake” girls.
Megan Barton Hanson
Megan got the nation hot under the collar during her steamy scenes in series four and wowed fans back by serving stunning looks.
But she didn’t look like that naturally, oh no, during her time in the villa some old snaps resurfaced showing her pre-surgery, which led Megan to ‘fess up to what she’s had done.
Commenting on her journey, she said: “I had procedures done solely for me and my first was at 17, I had my ears pinned back. Then at 19, I had a boob job and rhinoplasty. It was all for me…
“Then when I was on TV, everyone were like ‘this is her before, this is her after.”
The Only Fans fave 27, has since said she doesn’t regret any of her procedures but only has her Botox topped up nowadays.
Megan told MailOnline: “To be honest, all I get these days is Botox – I haven’t had my lips done since a year before the villa.
“Where I got it all done at a young age, it’s easily maintained, filler lasts longer, I just have preventative Botox here and there but other than that I don’t really get anything else done. I am really happy with the way I look.”
Laura Anderson
Series three hun, Laura, 32, has recently opened up about the darker side of her surgery experience.
In November, Laura shared pictures of her painful-looking breast scar as she divulged her regrets over deciding to go for breast implants.
Laura said: “Here’s what they don’t tell you, every surgery has repercussions years down the line so this quick fix mentality which we all suffer from, from time to time, will most definitely come back to bite you in the ass.
“It’s not like buying a pair of jeans that don’t fit so you just take them back. There’s no refunds when it comes to interfering with our bodies.”
Laura has also said she’d now “do anything to have my pre-surgery boobs back” and is warning other women that surgery “is not a quick fix to feeling confident.”
The star got a loan behind her parents back at 18 and had a boob job to take her chest from a 32B to a 32DD.
“I regretted it as soon as I came out of surgery – when I woke up I just cried.
“I’d asked the surgeon for the C cup implants but they’d put in the bigger ones and said it’d ‘save me cash in the long run as they knew I’d want them done again’ but I hated them as soon as I saw them, they were massive.”
“They just looked too big, it was distasteful but, would I have got onto Love Island without having such big boobs? I’m not so sure.”
Anna Vakili
Fiery queen Anna has also decided to strip herself back and edge towards a more natural look, despite spending thousands on body modifications over the years.
The 31-year-old has reportedly spent around £100,000 on plastic surgery and modifications and has recently said: “If I could get all the money back that I’ve spent on fillers, hair extensions, my teeth, boobs and everything like that – I would be rich!!!”
She added: “I feel like everything is a trend and everyone is going more towards the natural look now!”
The celeb has also recently undergone a £12,000 boob reduction, after upsizing just a few years before.
Anna has said she has had filler in her nose, chin and jaw but would not be looking to have them done again.
She said: “All these things I’ve stopped. My face is going a lot more back to how it naturally looked.”
The change of heart has come a few weeks after Anna showed off her new non-surgical nose job.
But the star doesn’t plan on going completely au natural, as she plans to keep up her lip filler and botox appointments but won’t be going “overboard”.
Anton Danyluk
The 25-year old Scottish gym owner has also come under fire recently against surgery claims.
After a series of new pictures, fans claimed that he had modified his image with surgical enhancements, but the star was quick to bat these remarks off.
In a recent interview, he said: “Recently, I’ve been getting a lot of hate and it’s a lot to do with my face.
“A lot of people are accusing me of having work done to my face.”
He told hosts Stephen Leng and Bobby Norris: “I genuinely haven’t had work done to my face.
“I’m honest, I will say if I have, I don’t care. If I want to have work done to my face, it’s my face, it’s my body. And if that makes me feel good about myself and I want to do that, good.
“It’s my life, I can do what I want. If you want to go out and drink every night and that makes you feel good about yourself, go do that.
“If you want to go to the gym, you go do that, that’s your life.”
Anton disabled comments on the picture after getting too much stick from his followers.
He added: “It’s not our business what other people think of us, and we can’t control what other people think of us.
“That’s it. I can go to my Instagram and I can say: ‘Guys, I’ve not had this work done to my face’, but they’re either going to believe it or not going to believe it.”
Love Island continues Friday on ITV2 at 9pm
