Love Island is set to return to our screens after a whopping 18 month break due to the Covid pandemic.
The ITV2 dating show will welcome a host of sexy singletons looking for love to the famous villa on June 28.
It gets the nation completely hooked every series, whether its Iain Stirling’s hilarious comedy or the dramatic post-Cast Amor reunions, and fans are always desperate to see who ends up together.
Since it returned in 2015, the show has created a number of successful couples including married stars Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen, Jess Shears and Dom Lever, and Cara de la Hoyde and Nathan Massey.
However, when the relationships in the villa don’t work out, it doesn’t always mean love is dead.
Many of the Islanders have gone on to eventually find love with contestants from a different series.
Daily Star has taken a look at some of the biggest Love Island relationship cross-overs ahead of the launch of series seven on June 28 at 9pm.
Max Morley and Laura Anderson
Max was crowned the champion of the first series of Love Island back in 2015 alongside his then partner Jessica Hayes.
The pair went their separate ways shortly after leaving the villa.
Max was more of less out of the spotlight until he began dating series three contestant Laura Anderson.
It has been previously reported that Laura even turned to Max for some advice before she applied for the dating show.
The pair posted cute snaps together on Instagram but their romance fizzled out.
The shock split came as things started to grow serious between Laura and Max – and they were even planning to move in together.
Laura has since rekindled her romance with her ex-boyfriend Dane Bowers and things seem to be going from strength to strength for them as she has admitted they’re discussing marriage and kids.
Wes Nelson and Arabella Chi
Wes reached the Love Island series four final with ex-girlfriend Megan Barton-Hanson in 2018.
They split up six months later when he appeared on ITV skating show Dancing on Ice and he moved on with model Arabella, who appeared on the dating show in 2019.
During her time in the villa, Arabella found romance with Danny Williams but she was given the boot when he decided to recouple with Jourdan Riane.
Her single status after leaving the villa meant she was able to get to know Wes, and love seemed to blossom very quickly.
They met due to sharing the same management but it wasn’t long before they moved in together, seeming to be love’s young dream.
However, they split up after a nine-month whirlwind romance with the six-year age gap said to have been a factor.
Kaz Crossley and Theo Campbell
Theo shot to fame in the third series of Love Island in 2017.
He didn’t manage to find love on the show but he eventually started dating Kaz Crossley, who coupled with Josh Denzel during her time on the show.
After Josh and Kaz went their separate ways, she and Theo began dating.
The couple made things official and later attended events together, enjoyed a number of holidays and looking very loved-up.
In August 2019, Kaz proved her love for her man by flying out to Ibiza after Theo lost the sight in his right eye following an accident involving a champagne cork.
However, Theo announced his split with Kaz in February last year after, admitting he got “slinged”.
He has now revealed he has become a father to a baby boy, while Kaz is living in Thailand.
Michael Griffiths and Ellie Brown
Love Island 2019 star Michael Griffiths seemed to confirm he was dating 2018 Ellie Brown after the pair both appeared on Celebrity Ex On The Beach.
The former fireman even called blonde beauty Ellie “the one”.
However, just hours later, Ellie denied reports, admitting they only posted the photo to promote the show.
Michael previously revealed that once Ellie “hated” him for going dates with other girls.
Opening up about their romance on The Reality Tea podcast, he explained: “Ellie hated me for a little bit. Not immediately after it happened, but it was for a while.
“So I’ll explain it from my my point. So from the get go, I said to Ellie that I didn’t want anything to kind of progress any way because I thought that I would hurt her.”
“I don’t want it to go anywhere because I know I’m gonna hurt you. And I don’t want to lose the friendship that I’ve got with you because I like, I adore Ellie, like I do.”
Ellie later unfollowed the hunky firefighter after spotting him on a date with another girl, just days after their split.

Love Island 2018 hunk Jack Fowler and Love Island 2019 beauty Joanna Chimonides set tongues wagging when he met her at the airport after her stint on the show.
A snap of the pair cuddling was shared on Instagram sending fans into meltdown.
Eagled-eyed social media users took to Twitter at the time to voice their suspicions that there could be something romantic between the two, with one saying: “What’s going on here then? Joanna & Jack fowler from last years #loveisland looking overly friendly pals then?”
Another asked: “Joanna has literally just landed in the UK and she’s already with Jack Fowler from last year??? These Islanders move quick.”
However, it turned out the pair are acquainted because Jack was Joanna’s personal trainer at the time.
Luke Mabbott and Lucie Donlan
Luke and Lucie both starred on Love Island but featured on different seasons.
The surfer chick says she felt an immediate attraction to her boyfriend when she watched him walk into the villa during the winter 2020 season of the show – more than six months after she appeared on the show herself in the summer of 2019.
Speaking about winning over Luke, Lucie revealed she approached him via social media.
She told The Sun on Sunday earlier this year: We’ll always be thankful for Love Island for putting us out there – but people forget we weren’t actually on the same series.
“When I was watching the Winter Love Island series I said to my mum, ‘He’s perfectly suited to me.’
“He looks so much like Justin Bieber – when I was younger I always used to fancy Justin Bieber – he was my teenage crush.”
The lovebirds are still an item and regularly shared loved-up snaps together on social media.
Speculation was high that Lucie and Luke had started dating in June last year – with the pair confirming the news the following month, shortly after his split from co-star Demi Jones.
Love Island returns to ITV2 and ITV on Monday June 28 at 9pm.
