Love Island ‘s Anton Danyluk has been forced to deny having work done after posting a number of snaps on his Instagram that saw curious fans question his new look.
Fans were adamant that work had been done to Anton’s face, but it seems the hunk hasn’t had any kind of cosmetic procedures as he denied all accusations.
Speaking on Fubar Radio, in an interview set to air on Thursday, he said he would admit it if he did have work done, but said: “I genuinely haven’t had work done to my face.”
He said that he received a lot of hate because of the speculation, adding: “I will say if I have, I don’t care. If I want to have work done to my face, it’s my face, it’s my body.”
The comments resulted in Anton choosing to disable his Instagram comments on one photo which saw a particular uproar in questions about his look.
He admitted he didn’t see any point in telling his followers that he hasn’t had work done, adding: “I can’t change their opinion on that and that is ultimately what they think. So why waste the energy?”
Instagram comments have flooded in one other snaps of Anton as fans have questioned his appearance, with one user writing: “You do not look the same as you did on Love Island.”
Meanwhile, another commented: “He looks so different.”
However, the comments about Anton’s appearance came alongside a sea of positive comments as he was flooded with compliments from supportive followers.
While Anton seemingly looks different compared to when he was in the show, he has certainly remained a fan favourite and he has since gone on to boost his career and launch his upcoming book.
The self-help book which will support people in becoming “the best version” of themselves has been a big move for Anton who said on the radio show that he has learned to love himself.
He said: “I’ve been bullied as a kid. I was a fat kid at school. I got it all the time, so I’m thick skinned now. It would take something drastic to bother me.
“You’ll like me or you don’t like me, if everyone can have that attitude then you know, you are going to be on the steps to living your best life.”
Anton will be talking about his journey from being bullied as a teen to becoming a Love Island favourite in his new book.
