Love Island labourer Brad McClelland has already shown that he can break hearts, as his recent split from Rachel Finni proved.
But he once damaged a very important part of his own anatomy, having previously broken his penis during sex.
Last night’s Love Island: Unseen Bits gave viewers a longer look at a game where the Islanders had to show how well they knew each other.
The main consequence of that innocent bit of fun was a blazing row between Sharon Gaffka, Faye Winter and Hugo Hammond when the girls took offence at Hugo’s dislike of ‘fake’ girls.
But the most shocking revelation from Unseen Bits came when cheeky Brad, 26, replied to Hugo’s question: “What’s Brad’s most embarrassing sexual tale.”
A sheepish Brad hilariously went on to reveal: “I’ve snapped my banjo.”
Speaking in the beach hut, he confessed to camera: “One thrust of the hips and it was like, ‘Ooh, what has happened?'”
Brad may be able to laugh at his old injury now, but it seems that there’s more pain ahead.
Having endured a chemistry-free coupling with Faye and then narrowly escaping a dumping from the island thanks to Rachel, he had his head turned by one of this week’s new arrivals, Lucinda Strafford.
But following their first non-task related embrace in Friday’s instalment, Brighton based online fashion boutique owner Lucinda, 21, admitted she was already regretting their smooch.
Speaking to Faye later on, she mused: “I still really like Brad. I don’t know, sometimes I think to myself, does the conversation really flow? I think I might leave [it]… See how it goes, you know?”
“I really regret snogging him. It wasn’t built up or anything, we got a bit too greedy. We just met each other.”
Faye – who had also struggled with Brad’s lack of conversational skills – compared Brad and Lucinda’s kiss to a “night out snog”.
Lucinda replied “He’s put everything out, he’s told me he wants to give 110%, he’s telling [me] baby names, he said, when are we getting married? He’s literally selling me the dream.”
Love Island continues daily, at 9pm, on ITV2.
