Love Island star Elma Pazar has taken to social media to ask her followers to top up her bank account as she is currently out of work due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The 27-year-old reality star logged into her Twitter account to ask if anyone can “donate” some cash as her job as as an eyelash technician has been seriously hit by lockdown restrictions.
Elma, who appeared on the 2019 edition of the ITV2 dating show, went on to explain that she is unable to claim furlough and has been left without income.
The beauty industry has been hit hard by the pandemic with many beauticians not being able to earn a regular income since the start of the outbreak back in March 2020.

She penned in the heartbreaking post: “If anyone wants to donate to my bank account to cheer me up, I’ll be happy to send you over my details. No time wasters please. Many thanks kind regards xxx.”
One of Elma’s 20,000 followers replied: “Can’t you claim furlough” but the star replied: “Apparently I’m not eligible”
Another person wrote: “Or you could look for a real job? Influencer on social media/ Love Island contestant are not careers.”
Elma quickly pointed out to the social media user that she is a qualified eyelash technician and is not an influencer.

She penned: “I mean people do make careers out of them, and people earn well from them which would imply they are ‘real jobs’.”
“However I’m an eyelash technician, which is also a ‘real job’ and can’t work due to Covid restrictions.”
The same user then suggested the star try volunteering, to which she said: “Very nice of you to suggest volunteering, I’ll look into it.
“But unfortunately for me that’s still not making a change to my bank balance so my quest continues. Good night god bless.”

Elma has since posted on her Twitter page: “Just to clarify a few things from my tweet I made the other day. “I just want to say that whilst it was said in a half-jokingly manor, I ain’t the brightest crayon in the box but it doesn’t take a genius to work out that this whole situation has been poorly handled.
“The reality is this has hit me, the beauty industry and I’m sure many other sectors hard. Just like many in the beauty industry, that are struggling to make ends meet due to the constant back and forward by the government.
“We’re playing yo-yo, one minute we are told that we are allowed to run as usual, then we are under further restrictions.”
She continued: “It’s easy to make this about me, seeing as I was on a tv show for five minutes. But truth be told, I had a job which I had to stop doing, just like everyone else.
“I have bills to pay, just like everyone else. I am human, just like everyone else. And like so many others, this has taken a toll on my mental health which has resorted to me giving myself time off Instagram for the past month.
“So I hope that the attention this has brought will be directed to those that are also struggling during these hard times – because the reality of it is none of this is easy. Hopefully, more help could be offered by our government to support businesses like mine.”
Elma entered the Love Island villa on day 10 of series five alongside Maura Higgins.
The brunette bombshell was sent packing on day 16 after being briefly coupled with Scottish hunk Anton Danyluk.
