Love Island's Georgia Steel talks 'bombshell' pressure and what Casa Amor is really like

Love Island star Georgia Steel says there’s added pressure entering the villa as a sexy bombshell.

The 23-year-old reality star joined as a late arrival during the fourth series of the ITV2 dating show back in 2018 alongside Rosie Williams.

Over the years, viewers have watched several bombshells join the show as a bid to test the male and female contestants.

Opening up about her own experience, Georgia told Daily Star: “I definitely think there’s more pressure going in as bombshell because everyone is normally in couples.

“You have the pressure to couple up with someone but you also don’t want to tread on anyones toes. Well I didn’t anyway.”

Georgia was left devastated during her time in the villa when her partner at the time Josh Denzel found himself falling for Kaz Crossley during the Casa Amor challenge.

She was left heartbroken upon his return from the second villa when he decided to dump her and move on with his new flame.

Opening up about what Casa Amor is really like, Georgia said: “I feel like Casa Amor is such a hard time for anyone that’s going through the Love Island experience.

“I know its only four days but it’s so true when individuals come and say one day in there feels like a week. I literally does.

“Four days is a really long time and if you’re in a happy couple, it can be really difficult.

“You’re still in the villa but you’re not with the person you’re spending all your time with. It’s hard and it’s definitely a transition.”

The final of the seventh series of the ITV2 dating show is just days away and the Islanders are set to be thrusted into the spotlight.

Yorkshire lass Georgia was “a student making dinner off £2” before the show and is now one of of the biggest names in British reality television.

She has since popped up on Celebrity Coach Trip, Celebs Go Dating and Celebs on the Ranch and has some advice for the 2021 Love Island stars for when they leave the villa.

“My advice here will go back to your family for a couple of days as soon as you come out, Georgia said.

“It’s an absolute whirlwind when you come out so it can be very overwhelming and you haven’t really got time to process the experience of the show.

“I would say its good to come back, get yourself grounded again, realise what’s important and go again.”

Georgia famously refereed to herself as being “loyal” on numerous occasions and she still gets fans saying it to her in the streets.

The “I’m loyal babe” catchphrase has landed her the role as VP of Loyalty for the digital McCafé loyalty scheme.

Opening up about the campaign, she explained: “I’m the queen of being loyal from Love Island so I got invited to be the VP of the loyalty scheme with McDonald’s.

“I feel it’s a great campaign to be part of and it just fitted me perfectly.

“The first job was to launch the digital McCafe rewards scheme because it used to be on paper but it’s now been upgraded to the My McDonald’s app which I think is such a good idea because we do everything on our phones now.

“It’s super easy, super simple and a much better way for people to claim back what they can.”
