Love island's Hugo Hammond known as 'bash and dash' at uni as ex speaks out

Hugo Hammond was known as a “bash and dash” ladies’ man during his uni days, according to an ex-fling who has spilled the beans on the Love Island star.

The 24-year-old Hampshire hottie is also worried that new posh lad Chuggs Wallis – a bucket-hat entrepreneur – will spill the beans on his reputation with the girls, says the ex-fling who was allegedly one of his regular hook ups at university.

The PE teacher went to Oxford Brookes University with 23-year-old Chuggs, and it was made clear at the firepit that the two could dish out some juicy stories on each other as Chuggs began telling the other Islanders about how Hugo would drink “anything blue” which left poor Hugo red-faced.

Speaking to The Sun, Hugo’s ex revealed that he would often take off after getting down to business rather than stay the night.

The ex claimed her friends would warn her because of his “bash and dash” reputation and said: “I used to get with Hugo on nights out and my friends would always warn me to be careful because he sleeps around.

“I can confirm he never would stay the night. The first time I slept with him he literally got up and left afterwards.

“Proper bash and dash.”

Cricket player Hugo himself admitted to kicking girls out of his bed after sex in order to have a “half-night stand” back in his initial VT.

In the saucy clip, he confessed: “I am in the inventor of something I like to call the half-night stand. I very much like my own bed and waking up by myself in the mornings.

“So I either have to do a runner or I have to boot them out so I can enjoy the rest of my evening and get my beauty sleep in.”

He then laughed, saying: “That’s terrible!”

Hugo’s ex also thinks he will be worried Chuggs will spill some secrets that will destroy his “nice guy image”, which he has become synonymous with in the eyes of fans and his fellow Islanders.

She continued: “I think Chuggs entering the villa has scared Hugo – someone that knows his past and his reputation with girls could ruin this nice guy image.

“I’ve seen people call him a BNOC [big name on campus] at uni.”

Then, scathingly, she said: “But really he just thinks he’s a top sh***er who can get any girl!”

Chuggs rocked up with Welsh bricklayer Liam Reardon as the two first bombshell boys on this year’s series and Hugo couldn’t believe his fellow uni pal was joining him on the show.

After Friday night’s episode, Hugo was safe from elimination after marketing executive Chloe picked him over the other remaining boys which included Brad McClelland and Chuggs.

Reps for Love Island had no comment went approached by Daily Star.

Love Island continues at 9pm on Sunday on ITV2.
