Love Island fans branded Jake Cornish a ‘terrible friend’ during Saturday’s instalment of Unseen Bits.
It came as Liam was trying to win Millie Court back after straying in Casa Amor – this time, attempting a love poem to get back in her good graces.
He’s even been spraying Millie’s pillow with his aftershave in an attempt to keep himself in Millie’s dreams.
Jake was on hand to help Liam with his wording for the X-rated love poem, which was, laughably, scribbled on a tissue.
The water engineer helpfully showed Liam where to add the comma, as he wrote a ditty which will surely go down in history alongside the best of Shakespeare’s sonnets.
It read: “I might not be sticking in your back in bed, but you’re stuck in my head.”
But fans on Twitter weren’t so impressed by Liam and Jake’s word-smithery, as one even branded Jake a ‘terrible friend’ for having a hand in the poem’s creation.
“Jake is a terrible friend for allowing him to write this!” one fan wailed on Twitter.
Another simply ranted: “THEY WROTE IT ON A TISSUE!”
“How does Liam come up with that poem for Jake to totally approve?” another giggled, as a fourth viewer added: “Seeing Jake and Liam write this ‘poem’ is the funniest thing!”
However, other fans applauded Jake for helping out a friend, with one quickly tweeting: “Just shows how much Jake is a victim of the edit… He was helping Liam get Millie back this whole time!”
“Jake and Liam are such a good duo!” someone else echoed.
Later, Liam was preparing his speech in a last-ditch attempt to win Millie back when Jake offered to be his inaugural audience.
Jake donned Faye’s hair extensions and shimmied into a glittery dress to make the experience as authentic as possible – leaving fans in hysterics.
But Jake had some sage advice to add, as Liam began giggling through his speech.
“Don’t laugh!” he insisted. “You f***ed up.”
He added that if Liam wanted Millie to take him back, he’d have to get serious about her.
“10/10 for Jake’s acting!” one fan cheered on Twitter.
Another followed up: “Jake pretending to be Millie, what an Oscar winning performance!” with a row of clapping emojis.
Love Island continues on Sunday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVHub.
