Love Island's Lucinda goes Instagram official with footballer ex after claiming to be single

Love Island’sLucinda Strafford was pictured on boyfriend Aaron Connolly’s social media as the pair posed for Halloweens snaps.

Footballer Aaron shared the snap of the pair dressed up as Hugh Hefner and Lucinda as a Playboy bunny to his 51.6 thousand followers.

It was revealed that the pair used to date for two years before the £1 million-a-year Brighton & Hove Albion winger cheated on Lucinda earlier this year.

It is reported the pair reconciled ahead of Lucinda’s Love Island stint.

An insider told The Sun how the couple “argued” about her going into the ITV2 reality show villa which she hoped would promote her online fashion boutique.

While Lucinda cracked on with co-stars, Brad, Danny and Arron in the villa ex Aaron looked after her pet dog at home.

Lucinda insisted at the time: “I am completely and utterly single. Never in a million years would I go on Love Island if I was in a relationship, and I’m sure if I had a boyfriend, he wouldn’t be very happy with it either.

“We ended quite dramatically at the start of March but then we made friends.”

She clarified: “Hopefully, he’s moved on and I definitely have.”

The blonde beauty left the show with Aaron Francis who she swiftly rejected, as well as former villa beau Brad after landing back in the UK.

Lucinda was quick to jump back into the arms of her football pro, Aaron Connolly and last month finally admitted they were dating.

She told OK!: “So, yeah, we are sort of talking again. We’re seeing where things go, we’re not back together as such but we’re taking it step by step.

“I came out the villa. It didn’t work out between me and Aaron [Francis], it was very reciprocated where we both said: ‘Maybe not, maybe we’re better friends’.

“And then, obviously I met Brad [McClelland] a couple of times and that sort of fizzled out as well.

“I feel like maybe there was a reason it didn’t work in the villa so it wasn’t going to work outside.”
