Love Island's Sharon Gaffka calls Hugo Hammond out for 'avoiding her'

Love Island’s Sharon Gaffka will be having stern words with Hugo Hammond in tonight’s episode as the beauty calls him out for “avoiding her” after the pair coupled up.

It’s only been a matter of days since the current islanders first went in their couples in the villa – but beauty pageant babe Sharon already has words to be had with Hugo.

Speaking to Kaz Kamwi, Sharon told her pal that she was annoyed with Hugo.

She said: “I am annoyed that we’re in a couple, we share a bed together and you’ve [Hugo] not had a conversation with me since.”

After her conversation with Kaz, she decided to speak to Hugo about her concerns and pulled the PE teacher for a chat.

As they sat on the day beds, Sharon said: “I knew from the word go that I wasn’t your type and that’s perfectly fine. What annoyed me is I feel like you avoid me and you don’t talk to me.”

Hugo defended the lack of conversation and said there hadn’t been time, but he apologised for making her feel like he was giving her the cold shoulder.

He added: “I definitely wasn’t avoiding you and I don’t want you to feel like that.”

The beauty keeps her distance from Hugo, but it seems like things are heating up elsewhere in the love department.

After the pair made it clear there was no romantic interest, it looks like Hugo might be looking elsewhere too.

Fans spotted a spark between Sharon and Aaron Francis last night, with many heading to Twitter to share their thoughts on the potential couple.

One user wrote: “I feel like Sharon and Aaron are well suited, they just don’t know it yet.”

Another added: “Sharon and Aaron look really cute together I can see the chemistry.”

A third person chirped: “Wait I lowkey like Sharon and Aaron…”

Could Sharon and Aaron be a hot new couple for Love Island 2021? It seems fans would be more than happy if they decided to couple up.

Despite happy viewers pushing for a new romance, many people are likely to be devastated as one of the girls will already be getting dumped from the villa – the question is, who?

Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 at 9pm.
