Dumped Love Island contestant Sharon Gaffka has been pictured working at McDonalds ahead of her glamorous transformation.
The star, who later entered into the civil service, was spotted sporting a lime green McDonalds uniform as she posed alongside a man – who is allegedly her former boyfriend – on social media.
A name-badge bearing the chain’s logo could also be seen with Sharon’s name on, and she wore her dark hair tied back in a ponytail as she opened her mouth in a wide grin for the camera.
The 25-year-old claimed prior to being dumped that she stood out in her home town of Didcot, close to Oxford.
And now a social media post has emerged of Sharon’s ‘roots’, which began in the fast food industry.
In a post to the Facebook group Spotted: Wallingford, Benson, Cholsey, Crowmarsh and Brightwell, one user posted the picture with the caption: “Sharon from Love Island saying she’s only ever dated bankers or doctors.
“Don’t forget your roots. And the comment ‘I stand out in Didcot, I mean, look at me’. Oh please! Look at all the work you’ve had done to ‘stand out’.”
But fans were quick to jump to Sharon’s support, with one writing: “Ah she’s okay just wants to put herself out there. Everyone has to start from the bottom – good luck to her.”
Someone else commented: “You know Love Island isn’t real life right? It’s a show. Get a grip and stop being so salty.”
“Oh dear – jealousy at its best!” a third fan chipped in.
Sharon has never spoken about her time working at McDonalds, and doesn’t mention it on her LinkedIn profile – though she does cite her experience working as a Team Leader at Co-Op in Oxfordshire from 2014 until 2015.
Sharon completely transformed her look from her McDonalds days, opting for a lighter brunette shade for her hair donning various sexy swimwear sets for her time in the villa.
Sharon said her Love Island experience was a “whirlwind”, explaining in her exit interview: “It’s definitely been something exciting and it’s the first proper thing I’ve done for myself in my life.
“Even though I spent most of it on ‘Friend Island’ instead of Love Island, I wouldn’t change any of it.”

She said the show took her out of her “comfort zone” and she made “amazing friends” along the way.
