Love Island star Toby Aromolaran has confessed “the dream is to be the king of the jungle” as casting rumours for I’m A Celebrity 2021 continue to circulate.
As the nights draw in and November creeps ever closer, fans of the hit reality show continue to refresh Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnely’s Twitter feeds for any hints as to who could be in this year’s line-up.
And as rumours continue to spread like wildfire, eager readers are convinced that some of this year’s Love Island stars could return to our screens once again for the gruelling TV show.
So, the Daily Star has decided to do some digging to see if any of this year’s favourites will appear on the hit show ahead of the 21st series set to launch this winter.
In an exclusive chat with the Daily Star, Toby revealed that he would only join I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here if the show returns to the iconic jungle Down Under.
As the show builds up to the big announcement date, the semi-professional footballer admitted he has been a fan of the show since he was a child.
Speaking at the Boxstar Celebrity Boxing match.“As a kid I always watched I’m a Celeb and Dancing on Ice [but] not so much Strictly.”
However, the star confessed that the as much as he would love to take part in the jungle, the idea of taking part in the grizzling challenges, which aims to help celebs conquer their fears, would be too much for the Island hunk.
He added: “I love the idea of the jungle, but actually doing it is a different thing because spiders, they scare me, they scare me a lot.”
And when he was asked whether he would do the show in Wales this year, he admitted that he wouldn’t agree to go on the show unless it was in Australia.
He confessed: “It’s crazy but the dream is to be the king of the jungle in Australia, who knows what could happen.”
It comes after former I’m a Celeb contestant Shane Richie admitted he is convinced Jake Wood will go into the castle this year.
The actor dropped some huge hints while talking at Tulleys Shocktober event this week.
He told The Sun: ‘“I keep hearing all sorts of rumours. “Shall I tell you who I’ve heard? I’ve heard about Richard Madeley and Jake Wood.
“I dropped Jake a text and he didn’t reply so he could now be in isolation … but you didn’t hear that from me!”.
Shane starred in the first series to take place in Wales last year, after the pandemic meant filming couldn’t take place in Australia due to travel restrictions.
