Love Island 2019 star Tommy Fury has become the latest name who could be set to take part in this year’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
According to the latest odds from betting firm Betfair he is at 3/1, making him a keen contender for the ITV reality show.
Manchester-born Tommy first appeared on our screens two years ago when he coupled up with influencer Molly-Mae Hague.
The couple is still going strong together despite coming runners-up on the show, when it was won by Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea.
However, since then he has gone on to fight in boxing matches and has a total of six wins, four of them being KO.
It would see the 22-year-old face a very different challenge from his time in the luxury villa, which he spent lapping up the sun, coupled up with Molly-Mae and having boys’ chats around the fire pit.
Instead, he would have to live in a cold Welsh castle, go through horrendous Bushtucker trials and face Ant and Dec every night in the dreaded vote.
Despite the rumours of the show being given the go-ahead to take place in the usual Australian outback, itt was recently confirmed that this year’s I’m A Celeb would take place from Gwyrch Castle in North Wales again.
This was due to the conflicting Covid restrictions in both the UK and Australia.
Last year, the camp saw the likes of Jordan North, Vernon Kay and Sir Mo Farah move in, while Giovanna Fletcher took the crown as the Queen of the Jungle.
No names have been confirmed so far for this year’s series which is set to take place later this year on ITV.
However, the popular reality show has already had some big names linked to this year’s series including Little Mix’s Jade Thirwall, Olympic gold medallist Tom Daley and Line of Duty actress Vicky McClure thrown into the mix.
Tommy Fury hasn’t responded to the current I’m A Celeb rumours as he is training in the US for an upcoming boxing match.
