Home Alone actor Macaulay Culkinl 40, has welcomed his first child with his longtime girlfriend Brenda Song.
The couple became parents last week before naming their new born son Dakota.
Confirming the news to Esquire, the happy duo simply said: “We’re overjoyed.”
Macaulay and Brenda picked the name in memory of Macaulay’s sister, who died in a car accident in 2008.
On Monday April 5 Brenda, 33, gave birth in a Los Angeles hospital to to the baby who weighted 6 pounds, 14 ounces.
Macaulay and Brenda have been together since 2017 after meeting on the set of film Changeling.

Speaking in 2020, Macaulay told of his plans to start a family.
He initially teased: “We practice a lot.”
Taking a slightly ore serious tone, he added: “We’re figuring it out, making the timing work.
“Because nothing turns you on more than when your lady comes into the room and says, ‘Honey, I’m ovulating.’”
Meanwhile, Brenda went on to gush over her man – adding to the publication how kind her man is.

Brenda said: “You can’t be around him and not be happy.’
“People don’t realise how incredibly kind and loyal and sweet and smart he is.’
“Truly what makes Mack so special is that he is so unapologetically Mack. He knows who he is, and he’s 100 percent okay with that.
And that to me is an incredibly sexy quality. He’s worked really hard to be the person he is.”
While Macaulay is easily best known for his leading role in the Home Alone films in the 90s he went on to enjoy an impressive Hollywood career.

After taking a break, in 2003 made a comeback via Part Monster.
More recently he appeared in Series 10 of Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story.
